As a contributing member of New York City Ballet’s Education Department since 2008, Meghan currently serves as Associate Director of Education.

Throughout her tenure, Meghan has spearheaded the establishment of NYCB’s Access Programs: a branch of the Department providing inclusive opportunities for children, teens, and adults with disabilities to engage with the Company. Ms. Gentile is also involved in the creation, implementation, and assessment of NYCB’s School Programs, offering leadership and guidance to her colleagues in the management of three distinct residency programs and the overseeing of a team of over 20 Teaching Artists. Holding multiple roles within the Department, Meghan has also been a collaborative contributor to NYCB’s Public Programs, having produced programming for all audiences, including children and families, young adults, new audience members, and long-time patrons of New York City Ballet.

She holds a B.A. in Dance from the State University of New York College at Potsdam and a M.A in Dance Education from New York University, Steinhardt School of Culture, Education and Human Development.
